Spanish cargo ship ‘Luno’ split in half off the south-western coast of France, at Anglet, on Wednesday.
The ship had been heading to a nearby port to load up with cargo when its engine failed and the rough waves carried it into a jetty where it broke in two. The 12-man crew was evacuated by a helicopter. The accident was caught on camera:
