Two persons including Army Captain killed in motorbike accident

Two persons including an Army Captain were killed in a motorcycle accident on the Ratnapura-Panadura main road early this morning (December 13) police stated.


The motorbike had reportedly veered off the road injuring the two riding it including the Army Captain and another youth.


The two victims were admitted to the Ratnapura hospital where they succumbed to their wounds.

The Army Captain was a resident of the Kahalla area of Katugastota while the 22-year-old youth was a resident of Kahangama, Ratnapura, police stated.
