Woman shot and killed by her husband

A woman has been shot and killed allegedly by her husband in the Wennappuwa area. Preliminary inquiries have revealed that the shooting was carried out by the victim’s husband, police said. The deceased has been identified as a 31-year-old resident of Wennappuwa.


Wennappuwa Police have commenced an investigation to arrest the suspect.
