Rapp, joining LTTE, disgusting - Geethanjali

Kilinochchi organiser of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party - Geethanjali Naguleshwaran has denounced the attempts of US Ambassador-at-Large Steven Rapp to level war crime charges against the Sri Lankan government after joining with the LTTE.


In a letter to US President Barack Obama, she has said that the above action of Rapp is disgusting.

The letter states that Rapps report includes false information obtained after secret discussions with political parties and religious leaders supporting the LTTE.

The letter also denounces charges that claim LTTE weapons to be those used by the Army.

Naguleshwaran has further stated that a newspaper report in Argentina  has stated in 2003 that the Army has not used banned weapons.

She has further stated that she too, has lost relations during the war.
