Govt. loses 3, wins 1

The UPFA run Medirigiriya, Hingurakgoda and Matale Ambanganga Korale Pradeshiya Sabhas today (24) failed to pass their budgets for next year, but the Rajgama PS secured a unanimous ‘yes’ for its budget.


Presented by chairman Manoj Mendis, the Rajgama budget was supported by the four UNP and JVP members too.

The PS has 14 members, of which 10 are from the UPFA.
