9-yr-old dead, 2 injured after three-wheeler topples

A nine-year-old girl died and two other persons were injured after a three-wheeler toppled near the 4th km Post on the Embilipitiya-Middeniya road.


Police said the accident was caused due the driver being unable to control the vehicle and that the child was a passenger of the three-wheeler.

The deceased is a resident of Kumbagodaara in Embilipitiya.
